I remember that cartoonist! I have two of their cartoons saved to my computer from a couple of years ago - absolutely hilarious!

In terms of IVF waiting times - does that mean you're on a waiting list? Or that you have to prove that you've tried for three years to have children, first?

no, we'll probably ask to get put on there after the hysterosalpinogram, to coincide with our participation in the fertility trial. I most certainly don't want to waste half a year waiting time for a trial that might not work, anyway. Also, the clock is beginning to tick. By the time I'll get the procedure done, I might be 33 or 34, so not really a spring chicken anymore.

Can you tell I'm FED UP with people telling me "oh, you're nice and young, you still have so much time?"

People really do say some incredibly stupid (even if well-intentioned) things regarding baby-acquiring. The one I'm sick of is "Now that you're adopting, I bet you'll get pregnant."
