percivalHere's a cool t-shirt I saw at a film screening yesterday: BUCK FUSH.
The film in question was Incident at Loch Ness, a documentary about Hollywood and the ways in which the Big Old Machine interferes horribly when venerable filmmaker Werner Herzog wants to explore the boundaries between truth and fiction in a documentary about the Loch Ness monster. This is one of the best films I've ever seen. It had the audience in stitches AND it is very cleverly made. Comes HUGELY recommended.
Also, while I was at my Quaker Meeting this morning, I had an epiphany. Given that I now regularly go to a non-Catholic Christian group where I feel very comfortable, I've now finally made that break and am standing on my own two feet as an adult. That will give me the strength to look after myself better - to do my Reiki self-healings, eat more healthily, procrastinate less, meditate more, and start Yoga again.
So, tentative schedule for the next 30 days:
- morning: Reiki meditation and Yoga for 15 minutes each
- midday: eat healthy lunch, prepared by self. One day of slippage is ok
- evening: cook dinner, Reiki self-healing
I've also resolved to:
- stop Shiatsu treatments and counselling after the sessions I paid for already until next year to focus on the Structural Integration
- book a massage room for one day a week in Edinburgh and two days a month in Glasgow
- set up the business properly
- keep a close watch of my outgoings
I know I can do this. Since I started subscribing to FlyLady, my kitchen and bathroom are much cleaner and better organised, and my bed is made in the morning. I can make small steps - I'm an adult, and I can take care of my life.
