The Habilitation is on again
Sep. 27th, 2004 05:56 pmI've thought about the way in which I'm going to write up all the analyses I'm doing now. If everything goes my way, I might be in full time employment again in April 2005. By that time, I would like to have the project I used to work for done and dusted. A good way of doing that would be to finish the labelling, do the analyses, and write them up. I.e., write a first draft of my Habilitation, because that's what it's going to be about: Instrumental Analysis of Hypokinetic Dsyarthria (i.e. the speech problems associated with Parkinson's Disease).
I would then have all of the analyses done, dusted, written up, and documented. When my boss gets time for co-writing papers, I can then just pull what I've done out of the bag and contribute. Right now, he certainly doesn't have time, but I have down time for writing. Plus, I can't do labellnig all day - too much persistent mousework. Some typing inbetween is in order, methinks.
