Thank you so much for all your comments! Yes, she did bump her head (that hit the floor first), and after talking to a nurse from NHS Direct, we upped and left for Accidents and Emergencies, where our daughter was prodded, poked, and measured and pronounced fine. She's lying next to me, gurgling away happily at her Symphony in Motion mobile. And I have a Head Injury leaflet now. :headdesk:

I also wanted to say that I do read, even if I don't comment that often. Typing one-handed while feeding is kinda difficult

So glad all is well! Harry had a similar type of fall when he was starting to get mobile, and it's just scary, but he's now 6+ and quite fine, so they do survive it! Hugs to bebe!

I'm glad that you got her checked out - 'tis always best to make sure in these cases.

*hugs*

Glad baby checked out fine - it's always a nasty scare for the parents though.

*hugs*

Oh, wow, I'm so glad it worked out. I just saw this and the previous post, and PHEW. When Sam was little, he fell down the stairs, and now he has a really hard head that is difficult to hurt. See? Some things turn out for the best. I probably would have had a heart attack if I'd seen her fall, though. PHEW.

And it was so wonderful to see you both!

*HUGS*

*hugs* yes you're right - any bump to the head deserves the once-over in a&e. I bet they saw her right away as well.

Bumps to the knees, once she starts walking, can be ministered to using Rich Tea biscuits :).

I'm so glad she's unhurt. My daughter fell off the bed when she was six months old (she'd learned to roll, unbeknownst to me), so I know just how you feel. :(

Typing one-handed while feeding is kinda difficult.

I'm so glad everything's OK. And yes, typing one-handed is difficult, but it's good to see you on here. :) And to know you're reading.

Give baby-girl a kiss from me, K?

By the way, just 'cause your daughter escaped head injury doesn't mean it's a good idea for you to self-inflict by headdesking yourself... *snicker*

Poor baby. I took a fall and had a hook fall on my head when my shoddy jolly jumper fell to pieces at eight months. I was rushed to hospital, but just had a bruised head. It occurs to me now that my parents should have sued the Jolly Jumper company and got rich.
