So you guys want more linguistics in my LJ entries? Well, your wish is my command.
But a warning is in order: As my RL jobs become progressively more interesting, I shall have less and less time to read LJ and comment on my Friends' antics.

A RL update: I had a sort of interview today at Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh. I'm going to give a couple of lectures there next year, starting soon - and hopefully also work as a Research Assistant one day a week. My new job world looks like a patchwork of different jobs that I do one to three days a week - which is fine by me! More excitement, more of a challenge to manage, but certainly more stimulating. I'm looking to reduce my hours at the company I work for at the moment - it's just not very exciting work, and I long to be back in academia now.
