Finished the book!

And I'm very pleased that she managed to strike a good balance between humour, romance, boarding school fun, and adventure. Well, two to three more years to go before we find out how this will all end. I suspect that the last book will be by far the darkest.

On a different note, I'm glad that I wasn't spoiled for any of it, and that I have been staying away from fandom for the past two years. Both gave me a nice, fresh read, even though I couldn't help but wonder at all of the shipping implications ;)
