We're in Idaho Falls right now, in the public library. The trip so far has been great,
starting with a lovely dinner with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dr_c in Seattle. The first postcards have been written and will be sent shortly.
We are both very impressed with the landscape and the friendliness of the people. So far, we've visited Mt. Rainier, Mt.St. Helens, the Oregon Coast, the Columbia River and driven through Idaho. West Yellowstone and Yellowstone Park is next.
I managed to stay below my $200 limit chez Powells (v. good), buying mostly Buddhist and infertility related books (sigh), and have also been buying history books. We've followed Lewis & Clark and the Oregon Trail so far; now in Yellowstone, it's nature time.
