I recommend ...

1. A movie.

101 Reykjavik. Strange comedy about a guy on the dole who likes being on the dole and party. Until a Spanish Flamenco dancer comes into his life and turns it upside down. Shows the Icelandic nightlife. And my sholder (I was an extra on that movie).
2. A book.

Night Watch by Fríða Á. Sigurðardóttir. A family story.

3. A musical artist, song, or album.

The soundtrack from Angels of the Universe. Mostly done by Sigur Rós. One of the best soundtracks I've.

4. An LJ user not on my friends list.

[livejournal.com profile] madhuri567. A 17 year old Indian girl who has wonderful vision on life and everything. One of my best online friends.

5. Something to do in the next two months.

Handwrite the tales of your recent journeys.

3. Monte Montgomery, my personal favorite musician for almost 4 years now. Mostly unknown except to a small but growing cult of followers. You can listen to some clips from his newest CD here:

1. Legend. 1986 movie with Tom Cruise and Mia Sara. Just plain fun.

2. Summer of the Dragon by Elizabeth Peters. Excellent, fun read. Mystery, romance, and humor all in one. Plus, if you like this standalone, I can slowly suck you into the Amelia Peabody series by EP. ;)

3. They Might Be Giants Wonderful band.

4. [livejournal.com profile] sunshyndaisies. She isn't posting as much now, but check out some of her archives.
