let's face it, I'm crap and didn't study thoroughly enough. And no amount of whingeing over the exam setters' alleged incompetence will change that.

Aww, that is ... torture. there are so many things I have to say about this way of setting exams.

Like, what about giving accurate feedback on your knowledge? allowing you to learn from mistakes? telling you which areas you still need to work on?
