we have Sky
Nov. 6th, 2004 01:46 pmYes, we succumbed to the lures of Mr Murdoch and got cable. Sky Family Pack, £20 a month. Our excuse? My husband loves animal and nature documentaries, and our antenna isn't working. So it was Freeview or Sky. And given that Sky gives us the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, etc. pp., we went for Sky. Am happily watching VH-1 at the moment :)
(For the record, Telewest still owe me £190. I'll never subscribe to their services again.)
I also cleared out and spruced up my massage room (first customer on Monday at 5.30), and we have removed nearly all of the carpet in the master bedroom. Go us! Now I only have to sort out my paperwork and do a first version of my "Welcome to my Office Pack", and I'm all set ... except for that physiology lab I stupidly offered to take. It ends at 5.15 and the customer is due at 5.30. Luckily, she works at the same place where I'll be tutoring the lab, so it's either a taxi home or we'll start later.
And I've decided that CARO barkey coffee is a good caffeine substitute.
Life is good.
