This story just turned my stomach when I read it. How can a woman do that to another woman? Rip her fetus from her womb?

I can understand the pain of infertility, but there are some lines that should not be crossed ...

By the way, I have lunch with Father Jeff on Thursday. He's being ordained tonight! He wants to know more about Buddhism.

I hope he doesn't get all weird about being Christian (or not), being Buddhist (or not), if they are mutally exclusive, etc., of all of the clergy I've met, he's the only one I've felt comfortable telling.

I hope to convey the notion that Zen, as Dae Gak Zen Master, my current teacher, says: "Zen is not about this and that. Zen leaves no trace of itself anywhere".

That was one of those stories that just made me cry to read...I'm so glad the baby is okay, but my heart goes out to her poor father. I can't imagine what he's going through right now.
