... I DO read, but suffer from two problems at the moment:
- very irregular internet access because I think our phone line (which traverses the air to a central post outside our garden) might be more or less reliable depending on the wind
- being besieged by a cute 9.5 month old, who refuses to leave Mummy's side when she's at home, so that she can feed and cuddle when she needs to
Methinks I need to start wearing her in a sling at home so that I can get at least SOME admin & housework done - or have Daddy watch her. She's fine if I'm out of her sight, but as soon as I walk into the room, she HAS to be with me. Or else. She'll also cling to my legs to make her point.

Date: 2006-05-25 12:33 pm (UTC)The phone line problem would bug me no end, I'm afraid :-(
A thought does occur, though: you're not using Wireless, are you? If you are, is it properly tied down to the relevant MAC addresses? A paranoid hypothesis might be that someone's snaffling your bandwith on an unlocked wireless network. But that's just me being paranoid...

Date: 2006-05-25 05:45 pm (UTC)I haven't been commenting or posting as much either, lately, because I've been swamped with schoolwork. Busyness happens and I think many people find themselves commenting less or whatever due to real life, every once in a while.
