Lent restrictions on LJ use

I'll be checking LJ only once a day during my lunch break - on days when I don't have a lunch break, I won't be on LJ at all. This means fewer comments from me (sorry!). I am available for chatting, but responses might be a bit delayed. Since I want to restrict non-lunchtime use of the WWW to work-related stuff, please understand if I don't follow links you give me.

I have a mountain of stuff to get done (2-3 grants to co-write, 3-5 papers to get out) plus teaching all before the end of July. My productive time is limited by the pregnancy to roughly 8-5 maximum, so I need to make the most of that.

I'm just getting the best Valentine's present ever ...

Having re-plastered some bad patches in one wall of the kitchen and sanded over the many uneven bits over the weekend, my husband's now putting down lining paper so that we can finish repainting the wall tomorrow.

Now THAT is much better than roses, flowers or chocolate!
