Foot in mouth?
Oct. 14th, 2003 05:16 pmOk, I booked flights and rental car for the niece's christening. Both came to a total of £360. I pointed out to the in-laws that since the trip to Germany was quite expensive for Thomas and me, we wouldn't lavish huge sums of money on niece on that occasion (like 200 Euros, which is 150 pounds). We're planning to spend 100 Euros instead for a savings account. Foot in mouth? Maybe. But I want them to appreciate that we are going to ... certain LENGTHS to attend.
