... well, guys, thanks for your good wishes, but the house isn't quite bought yet. However, since we have a letter from the Halifax stating that they will lend us one and a half times of what we will need to borrow, we're sorted. We will move in late February / early March; this will be a protracted operation involving a long drive from the Rhineland to Edinburgh with a full van. Our route will take us via London and Manchester, with an overnight stay in the London area.

Oh, and the candida?
Well, I have a sore mouth; the antibiotics made my Candida flare up again, and I think I now need to go back onto the anti Candida diet. I'll go to a medical herbalist some time next week for treatment and go BAX onto the sugar-free diet. Just In Time For Christmas, Folks!

At least this time, I won't cut out wheat and dairy, because for folks who do have lactose, dairy actually feeds the healthy darm flora. (I don't think I'll go on contraception during the Candida treatment, though - if I drink enough coffee, I won't conceive anyway. :P And coffee is supposed to be BAD for little candida organisms, so there. Eep. Good luck with the finances (owning your own place will be way better, but tightened circumstances and loans and stuff do not a stress-free life make) and with the candida. *hugs*
