in completely unrelated news, have decided to go see herbalist for candida, even if that means putting off conception for a couple of months and no sweets at Christmas. Am too suspicious of homeopathy and need this cleared quickly. My scalp has started itching, and I'm craving sweet foods. This is a fungus longing to be fed. And it will be thwarted!

Oh, and we're not redoing the kitchen when we move in. Our 2.24mx2.07m kitchen will require some more thought ...

My herbalist has helped me a lot. I thought I knew a thing or two about herbalism but she knows so much more. It makes sense since she's got the training but I guess I was a bit dismissive about what she could do for me anyway.

If you don't already have a specific herbalist in mind, there's a British association of registered medical herbalists. It was through their web site that I found mine. I found it through google.

You may want to bring up with her that you're trying to conceive. She may very well be able to take that into consideration when designing the treatment.
