snow driven diagonally across the campus. Bleurgh. not a pretty sight. It is going to be very slippery outside, which I hate. Kudos to the experts from Newcastle University building maintenance, who have not cleared away the snow and ice in front of the building where I work. Great job, guys. The orthopedics stations of the Royal Infirmary will thank you.

Slippy = not good! Funny you should mention the Royal Infirmary, it reminded me of something years back after a particular hard freeze. The council basically had to chip the two inch thick ice from the pavements as salting did no good. They missed a perfect 2 metre square patch ... directly outside the doctor's surgery!

Must have been low on customers!
