This morning, I had an e-mail from my landlady. Apparently, our rent for February is still outstanding, and she wants a cheque. This was the first I had heard of it (and note: we moved out on February 29). I checked with the bank, and lo and behold: the payment went out as scheduled on February 2. The payment did not bounce, account was nicely in the black. So now I've offered her to have the payment traced to her account.

Such DISORGANISEDNESS. Had she checked the week we moved out, this would have been easy - I might even not have canceled the standing order yet. Or maybe she waited for a payment to arrive on March 1.

Anyhoo, as it says in the Reiki principles, Do not worry just for today. I'll now let this matter sort itself out.

Good luck dealing with this without actually hitting anyone. At least you're getting away from her, eh?

What an annoying landlady. I'm glad for you that you won't have to deal with her much longer.

*hugs*

I hope you got your deposit back and she's not using this as an excuse to hang onto it.
