It's a girl!

Galadriel has landed. [livejournal.com profile] slowfox helped me choose her, [livejournal.com profile] sff_corgi helped me name her.

She is a blue grey Dell Inspiron 5150, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB HDD, full Wireless support, DVD Writer - to name but a few of her impressive internal features. Her heart beats at 3.06 GHz.

She was delivered safe and well by Lynx yesterday lunchtime together with her very own spiffy laptop backpack and a Logitech cordless multimedia keyboard and mouse.

Mummy loves her very much.

Yay for the wireless! I hope Galadriel lives up to expectations (IMHO, she sounds pretty fab.

Anyway, am glad it all arrived safely...

Laughing out loud about "iron this and get me a beer"...I really struggled yesterday morning ironing my shirt for work...

Well, that joke was pretty much perfect :D

And I've been meaning and neglecting to thank you PUBLICLY (beyond just a note here) for the wonderful package you sent me, which arrived a few days ago. The contents were totally unexpected, especially the Big Thing, which looks completely wonderful - and I feel terrible that I haven't had time to sit down and read the entire story. But I will. I promise. *hugs* Thanks again so much!! You ROCCCKKKK!! and you're yet another LJ friend who is much too nice to me :)

I needed a good laugh! And I can think of about five guys in my office who might say the exact same thing! Cool about your new baby.

Hm, does this tell us something about men, or only about Texans?

Oooh! Very nice! Looking forward to meeting her!

Are we still up for that dinner we were talking about? Seems like ages since I've seen you!
