then one more day, and I'm done.

My new hero is jessanndi, by the way. Can you imagine that this crazy woman offered to transfer me from Gatwick to Heathrow on the morning of December 31? Ah, Alan Rickman fans - they are the best people in the world :)

Especially if, heaven forbid, the plane to London should be LATE - according to Jessanndi's map, the ride from one airport to the next takes not more than 60 minutes - and there should be very little rush hour traffic at 9am on that morning ;)

My bags can't be checked through - I hope that I can manage with cabin luggage only, i.e. a trolley and a notebook case. angua9 kindly offered the use of her washing machine :)

- CD's with data for WORX
- A&P book, Massage books
- massage oils, essential oils
- underwear, 2 skirts, shoes, 2-3 tops
=> doable

Foot in mouth?

Ok, I booked flights and rental car for the niece's christening. Both came to a total of £360. I pointed out to the in-laws that since the trip to Germany was quite expensive for Thomas and me, we wouldn't lavish huge sums of money on niece on that occasion (like 200 Euros, which is 150 pounds). We're planning to spend 100 Euros instead for a savings account. Foot in mouth? Maybe. But I want them to appreciate that we are going to ... certain LENGTHS to attend.
