percival... of a Brighton borders, crammed full of kiddies, busy playing "Harry and Hermione's first kiss", enjoying fun-packed activities such as "colour in pictures of Ron", "draw a Quidditch match", "name all Weasleys" ...
... and in a corner, huddled together, a bunch of teens and tweens, under varying degrees of alcohol influence, accompanied by two adults in their thirties, shouting "Bugger for Britain", "Remus and Sirius - The One True Way" and "AROOOOOOO!"
... one of the adults, who wears a "Big Head Girl" badge, is asked by a concerned parent: "Are these your children? Could you please tell them to behave? They are siriusly upsetting my Cordelia and my Augustus."
... whereupon the Big Head Girl hisses haughtily: "I am not THAT old!" The woman then points to the main troublemaker and continues: "This woman has just become an ADULT. She is fully responsible for her actions. Go and harass her. If you dare." The parent, after casting one look at the main troublemaker and her explicit T-shirt, breaks into a cold sweat and beats a hasty retreat. The Big Head Girl coos softly: "Arooo ...."

Date: 2003-06-10 07:59 pm (UTC)I should've been born in the UK!!! But I'm here in TEXAS... halfway around the world from Geekmoot. *sticks out lip in biggest pout of all*
But at least I'll have my faithful Molly McGonagall there with me. And my kids... and her kids. And her son and I will beat up the other kids in line for the books.
And we will not only be howling and yelling and carrying on... but we'll get our kids to do it too.
Reminds me... I need to find some Hogwarts robes for the kids... my graduation robes will work for now... but the kids need their own. *sigh* so much to do in ten days.
10 days? ARRRRGH!
