I am back from Spain - the LJ-less time is over!

I've picked up lots of very cool and interesting job leads/ideas from the
conference. Grants to apply for, people to keep in touch with, papers to write ... back to life!

The conference was rounded off by a closing session where we saw young professional flamenco dancers strutting their stuff. Excellent.

Meanwhile, the day job is chaotic as usual.

And my twin is NUTSO. She is much loved and much missed and much appreciated. Does this have something to do with a recently arrived parcel? Nooooooooooooo....

Talking about transatlantic messages,

murasaki99 informed me that the scrapbook she made me might even contain a few cat hairs, since the cats tried to help! Well, all I can say that the cats did a fabulous job, and I shall cherish every single scrap of fluff ;)
