We went to a lovely Vegetarian Gujarati restaurant in Nicholson Square, Edinburgh, Ann Purna. I had vegetable korma to die for and finished off with a low-cal yoghurt-nut-saffron mix.

In the evening, we scoured car magazines - Which Car? Guide, specifically - for an affordable, reliable, low-fuel-consumption vehicle. We've narrowed our choice down to Nissan Almera (as recommended by

slowfox), Nissan Micra, Ford Ka, Ford Fiesta, and Ford Mondeo. Everything else is either too expensive or not reliable enough.
