Date: 2003-10-02 01:36 am (UTC)I actually did something similar many years ago when I was doing my language assistant bit on my year abroad - I had this passage of dialogue translated literally into English, including word order, and the class had to firstly translate it back into German and then forward into 'proper' English. It was a fun lesson.
