I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

1) One of the initial reasons I started following your LJ is because you are an only child, like me, and I think you understand a lot of the feelings that come with it.

2) I very much enjoyed meeting you for those few hours in Edinburgh!

3) In a way I wish I'd known more about you beforehand and had actually had some sleep therefore being better company :)

4) I think I'm a chronic worrier. I'd love to learn Latin and the last CD I bought was Herbie Hancock's "Head Hunters".

I enjoyed meeting you, too, and yes, being an only child is definitely NOT a piece of cake. Bonus: You get all the attention. Downside: you get all the friggin' attention.
