I'm a 27-year-old scholar from Adelaide, South Australia, currently unemployed and job-hunting in the very slow academic job market...what keeps me going are my friends, my desire to do work that I love, and a general enjoyment of the world. It's a nice place to live, or it would be if people didn't keep doing stupid things...
My goals are to work as a researcher and teacher in the field of English Literature, to write better than I do now--and more!--and to live happily.
I believe in myself and my friends, and in the chances and connections that are the inescapable consequences of living within a closed system.
